Cape Town Photo Walk

With a couple of hours to spare at the end of a photography assignment, I decided to take a quick tour of Cape Town. This was my experience and some of the images I enjoyed capturing.

This is Philppi Village. I was here for no more than 10 minutes to meet a contact who was to take me to the location of the AIDS vaccine research assignment that had taken me to Cape Town.

This used to be a cement factory.

I did not get to spend much time here so I plan to return on my next visit.

Downtown Cape Town is very touristy. There are many establishments set up to cater to the thousands of tourists who visit each week.

Bo-Kaap

The colours say it all.

While taking in the views, I met Sicumama Dhlamini and Push Dhlamini who asked if I could take photos of them.

I obliged.

Cape Town by Night

At sunset, the cold day became even colder. To warm up, I shot some hot long exposures from my hotel room and street below.
