Another two from what I guess I’ll call the ‘missing photos’ series – interesting photos that I find as I catalog my photos.
These ones were taken at Rock City, Kiambu Road, during a family get together.
Nairobi Cinema is a good auditorium for music events though the lighting doesn’t allow you to do much with photography.
So for Acoustic Worship, I had to look for a different angle to tell the story. I’m thankful that the organisers had no restrictions on movements on stage which allowed me to get these shots.
Afropolitan sells African jewelry, accessories and shoes for the cosmopolitan lady.Bev, the fearless influencer who runs Afopolitan is a world citizen, shuttling with ease between continents leaving a bag of charm wherever she goes. We met when she was taking the one-year Discovery programme at Mavuno Church.
Arboretum was the perfect location for the look Bev wanted. But the African sun, on the equator, lived up to it’s fame of falling other than setting. One minute we were using flash to kill shadows, another we were lighting the whole scene!
I had a lot of fun working with the models too and can’t wait for the Afropolitan site to be up!
There’s a special anointing of sorts on my friends this year – so many getting married!
And the latest are Tony and Faith. A super talented brother who’s going to make it super big in film and his equally talented, always standing by her man wife.
Highlight of the wedding was the mdundiko at the reception, thanks to Krowbar.
