I’ve never seen the whole country celebrate like when we marked 50 years of independence. Not to be left out, I went to the Safaricom Stadium Kasarani to celebrate with thousands of Kenyans and foreign dignitaries who were here for the grand bash.

Live Green Screen Photography
The Niko na Safaricom Live concert directors had an idea that many said couldn’t be done. We listened to them, planned how to and did it. Good Night Nairobi, Pt 1

Watching Kenyatta
Last Saturday evening, I got to attend Just-A-Band’s Sorry for the Delay album launch at KICC. You can purchase the album here. Despite the slight drizzle, JAB put together a good apology for the late release of their album. It was a fantastic show.
Nairobi Sunrise
I shot these several weeks ago on a #ShootingKenya expedition which saw us catching the sunrise in Nairobi and chasing the sunset in Magadi.

Nairobi at Dusk
More shots taken from KICC’s helipad. See previous post for the full story. The sun sets quite fast, its like its hurrying to rise elsewhere. There’s hardly any time to change a lens or re-compose your shot when it starts warming Ngong Hills. Excuses aside, enjoy the shots.
