I missed the games on Saturday as I had a family commitment.

So early Sunday morning I was at Nyayo Stadium Nairobi to witness when the Kenya Corner came home.

Kenyan Fans Remain Undefeated

For many years, Kenya Corner has provided the energy needed by the players, broadcasters and other countries to elevate the game we will play in heaven. On home ground, they took this energy several decibels higher, reminding the world Kenyans are the best SVNS fans worldwide.

The next crop of Kenyan talent was given a taste of playing games at an international stage. In the girls category, Central beat Eastern 19-10 and for the boys, Rift Valley beat Nairobi 14-12.

HSBC SVS 2 Women’s Games

We had Argentina, China, Brazil, Spain and South Africa competing for top honours.

At the end of the day, Argentina emerged victorious and took the top honours home.

USA, Uruguay, Belgium, Canada, Germany and Kenya battled it out on Nyayo’s green, with Germany lifting the trophy at the end of the day.
