When I heard about what Mavuno Church Lavington wanted to do in appreciation of the school that has housed them for nine years now, I set out to tell the transformative story.

Before Renovations

This is what the staff room looked like before the renovations.

Teachers’ lockers were coming apart at the hinges, the ceiling had signs of leakage and there weren’t enough seats meaning that some teachers had to stand up during staff meetings.

The staff toilets too needed some attention.

This is an indication on what the school receives from the government in support of Free Primary Education.

Renovating the Administration Block

Just before Christmas 2024, some members of Mavuno Church Lavington made time to go help with the renovations, adding a splash of paint to different rooms in the administration block.
