I have very many photos to share so no words are necessary.
And anyway, people come here for the photos, not the writing.
Friday 23rd April
Last minute touches on Tundo’s car before the shakedown.
Ndulele Shakedown
We were late for the shakedown so captured the scenes outside the stage.
KWSTI Service Park for Official Start
A wet, action-packed Saturday
We camped at a water crossing in Soysambu Conservancy and witnessed this action.
The same route was run in the afternoon. This time I positioned myself before the water crossing for a different perspective.
Made with four different images, shot from the same position.
Air Kedong
I positioned myself at a jump, set the camera and remotely triggered it for air shots.
I switched the camera position to the back for a chance to get more air and got Juliana Rotich to remotely trigger the camera while I tried out panning shots.
The setup… The shots…
Fin.
wow!!
You never dissapoint bro!
The fotos are magical and they tell an indepth story of this sport that we all love. The river section must have been exciting and thrilling. What settings did you have in your camera for the remote shots at the jump section, considering the varying speeds of the cars?
I really look forward to the return of the Safari Rally in June. Childhood memories will be relieved….safo na matope 🙂
