The attacks we have suffered as a nation over the past year have made us live in fear. With unverified warnings of more to come, I’d like to invite you to join me in a week of fervent prayer for this blessed land.

God tells us in 2 Chron 7:14 ‘If we His people, who are called by His name, will humble ourselves and pray and seek His face and turn from our wicked ways, then He will hear from heaven, and He will forgive our sin and will heal our land.’

Take some time to pray for our Leadership, from the President, his Deputy to your local Chief. Mention them by name if you can. Pray for our Defence Forces as they work to keep our borders safe. Pray for love and unity in our families and workplaces. If love prospers at home and at the office, then it will spread throughout the land. Pray for yourself, that you won’t fear despite the threats to our very existence and you will be an agent for peace and not fear.
