Andrew and Daisy aren’t new to you. You met them mid last year at their engagement shoot at Nairobi Railway Museum. Remember?
About six months later in December, their wedding day arrived and Wamuyu and I were at hand to make sure memories of the glorious day didn’t fade with time.
While I was in South C with Daisy and the ladies, Wamuyu was in Upper Hill with Andrew and his guys. There was fun all round.
GQ, I have his number.
Vogue, I have her number.
Daisy is big on retro stuff. Notice the maids’ polka dot dresses? Well, as a surprise, Andrew got her a classic Rolls Royce to roll in for the day.
Her joy was uncontainable, even before seeing her man.
Arrival at Milimani SDA Church where the wedding ceremony was held. This was our first time shooting a wedding on a Sunday.
He’d just come out of surgery to sing for Andrew and Daisy, and what a performance he had!
For the photo session, we decided to return to the Nairobi Railway Museum and stopped by the Uhuru Park view point for some quick shots.
An unplanned shot that became one of my favourites.
I love that Andrew and Daisy had props they wanted used in several shots.
One of the benefits of having the countdown timers on Nairobi’s traffic lights is you know how long you have to take a shot.
The reception was at Lions Loresho and provided the stage for us all to dance in celebration.
It was a long day shooting but lots of fun as well.
Andrew and Daisy, thank you, thank you, thank you for allowing us into your lives on this very important day, and giving us the opportunity to make you even happier. May the Almighty God, Father of our Savious Jesus Christ increase your joy, love and favour in marriage.
Mwangi you are the best wedding photographer ever:-) We thank God for you and look forward to having you shoot pictures for our little family in future:-) Baraka tele!
