Last September, on the way back to Nairobi from Bujumbura during the #OnetouchLive road trip, I got an email enquiring if I’ll be available for a wedding in November. I met Larry and his beautiful fiancee Rosa one evening in Nairobi and I got to know what they needed for their wedding day. I made a few suggestions which they loved and looked forward to their November wedding day.

I started the day at Rosa’s and had Naomi Katetei to assist me. It was a very easy start to the day.

Over at Larry’s the guys were also having fun and Wamuyu Kiragu was at hand to make sure no moment was missed.

Since Larry and Rosa had picked the Windsor as their photo session venue, I suggested we shoot in the morning before it gets crowded in the afternoon. I’m happy they agreed because we had the entire venue to ourselves.

That’s their niece by the way.

Nothing beats a picture of a happy bride and the reason she is happy.

 

Larry loves golf but loves Rosa more. Here, we introduced his two loves to each other.

Larry survived and headed to church for thanksgiving prayers.

Rosa went back home for Larry’s family to pick her and take her to a thankful Larry.

Rosa’s nephew was the appointed security man at home. When the singing and dancing became too much, he let his guard down.

Ridgeways Baptist is where Larry and Rosa’s marriage was solemnised.

Since we were already done with the photo session, we crossed over to Thika Road Mall for some fun.

‘Have they eloped?’ ‘Did they take a wrong exit on the highway?’ These are some of the questions shoppers had when they saw Larry and Rosa walking through the mall.

From TRM we headed to Wanderjoy on Kiambu Road for the colourful reception.
