This is the third week we are in Elementaita, which, I got to find out, is a corruption of Ole Muteita.
The sunsets at this Rift Valley lake never disappoint, and are as diverse in colour and form as the the experiences you’ll have when there. This week’s was taken in 2012 when visiting the Lake with fellow photographers during #OnetouchLive and #ShootingKenya. We had been welcomed with afternoon showers that dampened our hopes of capturing a sunset. But God favoured us with this brilliance shortly after the rains subsided.
Next week, we will be heading to a different part of Africa but before then, enjoy the wallpaper and share with your friends.
In other news, this September, together with other photographers, I will be taking a photographic road trip across Africa from Nairobi to Namibia’s Skeleton Coast to showcase what a blessed continent we live in. More of that in the coming weeks.
