This weekend, I celebrate the ultimate Gentleman: Christ who died for me so that he wouldn’t live without me.
May this truth be your portion now and forever, in Jesus’ Name, Amen!
Love. Paul was right in calling it ‘the greatest’ in 1 Corinthians 13.
I didn’t feel like I was working today. It was a great pleasure playing witness to the union of two believers.
There was joy in heaven and amongst we the witnesses here on earth.
Thanks Ciru and Bo for inviting me to share in your joy.
Ken is a fearless influencer I’m proud to call friend.
When working in Uganda several years back, he casually took a photo of a street kid without clothes. That photo made the rounds and a few weeks later, the kid had decent clothes to cover his body.
On seeing how that single photo transformed a life, he quickly quit his job, returned to Kenya, got an internship at Nairobi Chapel and while there, met with a filmmaker who pointed him to the US for a 13-month filmmaking apprenticeship.
Today, through his company Filamujuani, Ken is teaching kids in Kibera how to tell their own stories through film. They’ve worked on a TV series called ‘Zuki’ which they plan to screen in Kibera soon. Charges will be 3/- and 5/- for VIP.
Ken humbles me.
