African Screens 48 – Nairobi Nightscape
I have learnt to live my life the fearless way. Whatever I do, I do without fear, knowing I am more than a conqueror. Put me in a cage with a lion and I will stare it down to a kitty. Polar bear? I will show it why they make cute toys. One fear that I’m yet to conquer is that of heights. Yes, I have serious acrophobia. That’s why I can’t be an angel.
Last Wednesday, I got to face my fear head-on from the Lonrho House rooftop while shooting Nairobi nightscapes with other photographers. Shaking in my jeans and bonk tee, I managed to capture this image and then retreated to the safety of the ground floor. Enjoy it as your wallpaper this week as you conquer your fears.
