Andrew and Tiffany’s Wedding
I’ve been looking forward to post this just as many of us have been looking forward to Christmas.
This wedding is similar to Christmas in several ways. Top on the list is that it was full of celebration and good cheer. Weddings are extra special when its two believers getting untied, and when these two are great friends, there’s just that extra oomph in the celebrations.
Andrew and I had interacted many times at Mavuno Downtown, Mavuno Central and when he was gigging for different musicians. Many times, Tiffany was not too far away, enjoying watching her man do what he does best. Then come January 2013, we all signed up for Ndoa, a 10-week experience that truly opened our eyes to what marriage truly is, as designed by The Author Himself.
After Ndoa, I somehow imposed myself as principal wedding photographer for Andrew and Tiffany’s wedding, and roped in Wamuyu Kiragu to second shoot for me. The wedding was in August and this is how it was for me.
I started the day at Tiff’s parents’ place and got there before preparations begun.
Sometimes God sets you up for a shot like this and when you take it, you sense Him smile with you.
Not too far away, Wamuyu was with Dru and the boys, snapping away as they prepared.
Pastor Kevin from Mavuno Downtown officiated the colourful ceremony.
We all felt the joy shared by Dru and Tiff on this their wedding day.
Dru and Tiff were out to make their day fun and memorable. They did.
See what happens when you make faces at the photographer? See?
The photo session was still within St Mary’s and it was lots of fun.
Mdundiko at reception.
After the reception, we had enough time to take some more shots.
God continue blessing your union Dru and Tiff! May your marriage be a light to many more that follow after yours.
