It’s a monumental year for Kenya as we celebrate 50 years of independence. There’s been mixed reactions to the progress we have had in half a century, but the undeniable fact is we may not be where we should be, but we are glad we aren’t where we were 50 years ago.
As we celebrate our progress, let us take time to remember the many women and men who laid down their lives for our freedom that we shouldn’t take for granted.
