African Screens 01 – Nairobi Sunrise
Africa is a blessed continent. Yes, we have our issues, but we have more blessings than issues.
In my travels across the continent, I’ve come to appreciate our abundance of diverse landscapes, warm hearts and explosive energy. All the photos showcased in this blog and at www.click.co.ke are shot right here in Africa as evidence of what a beautiful place we live in.
For several months, I’ve wanted to make these photos available to you not just as blog posts, but as beauty to adorn your computer and mobile device screens.
The procrastination is over.
Starting this week, I will share select images for you to help me spread the truth about Africa. Download, wallpaper and spread the good news.
This week’s image was shot from Uhuru Park’s viewpoint of Nairobi’s skyline in 2012. The bird is real and not Photoshopped. It is a hawk that happened to be flying by as I shot the silhouette. I was blessed to click at the right moment.
