Good Morning Nairobi

Today I celebrate a new dawn for our republic.

We as Kenyans have proven to the world that we have matured politically and can exercise our democratic rights peacefully.

A lot has been written about the elections, but here is one of the more interesting reads: http://shutterdiplomacy.com/2013/03/10/oh-my-god-not-another-kikuyu-president/

These photos were taken on the morning of 4th March 2013. It was indeed a new dawn for Kenya.

Today, after a self-imposed week of being glued to TV, we get back to work and build our nation.
